WHO WE ARE

We are a multicultural team of women photographers from Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States.
We are actively working in diverse visual fields and mediums, and our work has been published and recognized internationally.
We specialize in documentary, portraiture, experimental, conceptual, architecture, street, still life, fashion, sports, and nature photography, photojournalism and mixed media.
Through accesible mentorships, group critiques, courses, workshops, portfolio reviews and webinars, we are committed to creating opportunities for growth for rising image makers worldwide.
We are determined to nurture emergent talent, overcoming language and financial barriers. That's why we also offer
free-of-charge opportunities, and we are working on a
program of scholarships.
We are happy to welcome all women, men, and non-binary photographers who share our vision of a collaborative, socially engaged, feminist and inclusive future in photography.

WHAT WE DO
WE OFFER FIVE ONLINE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
AND TWO COMMUNITY INITIATIVES
The FotoFuturo Journal, a news portal that amplifies voices of women in photography, and provides info and resources for photographers (coming soon).
Our Shaping the Future blog, where we feature projects from emergent photographers worldwide that reflect stories and address issues that matter. Including:

HOW FOTOFUTURO
CAME TO LIFE
In 2017, I discovered the dazzling world of international photography. An universe of extraordinary projects documenting stories around the planet, of accomplished visual artists, of competitions, grants, photobooks, and awards that I didn’t know they existed. It captivated me forever. Since that moment, I knew I wanted to build an international photo career of my own, just like the talented and successful artists we studied in class. But it all felt so unreachable as a young woman coming from Latin America.
FotoFuturo Lab is the outcome of my dream that more photographers from all over the world, especially the ones who feel like I did, in remote places where accomplishing extraordinary things can seem so far out of reach, have the chance to meet and learn one-in-one from internationally published visual artists and photo editors.
An accessible space where you can show your potential, share your work, nurture your talent, and grow in your career.
A platform to present stories by emergent photographers that add to the current social conversations and change the hegemonic voices that once occupied the field (and sometimes still do).
A community where new generations share our vision of an inclusive, socially engaged, collaborative, and feminist future in photography.
So please join us in this journey. Explore our website, take a class, do a mentorship, send us your work for feature, follow us in our social media, share our posts, make us questions, create discussions, be curious, and don’t get discouraged by your circumstances.
Your dreams are yours to follow.
